Revelio
Privacy Policy
Revelio is a symptom and food logging app created by Kareem.
This page explains what data the app stores locally on your device and what limited usage analytics may be processed when the app is deployed publicly.
1. Health logs you enter
The app stores the symptom and food entries you create directly in your browser on your device. This includes timestamps, food text, and symptom selections such as diarrhea, nausea, acne flare, and bad sleep.
These logs are stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB. They are not sent to a backend by the app itself.
2. CSV export and import
If you use the CSV export feature, a file containing your health logs is generated on your device. If you import a CSV file, its contents are read by the app and written into local browser storage on your device.
3. Optional website usage analytics
When Revelio is deployed on Vercel with Vercel Web Analytics enabled, limited website usage data may be processed to understand aggregate traffic and usage patterns such as visits, top pages, rough geographic distribution, device type, browser, and referrers.
According to Vercel's documentation, Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies for this purpose and uses anonymized, aggregated data. Vercel also describes visitor identification as a request-derived hash that resets after 24 hours.
The app is configured not to send your symptom entries or food log content as analytics events. Query strings are stripped before analytics events are sent.

4. Opt out of optional analytics on this device
You can disable optional usage analytics for this browser on this device. This setting uses local browser storage to remember your choice.
